Ingredients:
- 1 egg yolk (or 1 whole egg if small but just the yolk is better)
- 55g sugar
- 170g flour
- 1 tsp coffee essence (or make it with hot water and 1 tsp of instant coffee)
- 85g Grahams spreadable butter
Instructions:
Step 1
Pre-heat oven to 160C.
Step 2
Mix butter and sugar together.
Step 3
Add the rest of the ingredients and mix together.
Step 4
Roll the mixture into small balls and flatten slightly. Place the balls, evenly spaced on a lightly greased baking tray.
Step 5
Bake for 20 minutes in a moderate oven (around 160C).
Step 6
Make butter icing (in proportion of half butter to icing sugar) and flavour with a few drops of coffee essence.
Step 7
Sandwich two halves together with coffee butter icing, and you have a kiss!
