Quark Quiche Lorraine
Great enjoyed hot or cold, this quiche recipe is sure to be loved by all the family.
Deliciously light waffles from Flora Shedden topped with our fat free, high protein Vanilla Quark!
Preheat your waffle iron. Measure out the flour, baking powder, and caster together in a bowl.
In a jug whisk together the eggs, oil and milk until smooth.
Combine the wet and dry ingredients together and whisk until smooth.
Spoon the required amount into your waffle iron and cook following the instruction. Repeat until the batter is used up.
For the fruit, cut the plums in half and set aside.
Heat a small frying pan over a medium heat. Place the plums in the pan cut side down and allow to colour a little. Add the honey to the pan alongside the vanilla and cook until syrupy. If it over caramelises and become too thick add a little water. Add the cherries and cook for a few minutes.
Serve with the waffles and generous dollop of Graham’s Vanilla Quark and top with some chopped almonds if you fancy it.
250g plain flour
2 tsp baking powder
50ml sunflower oil
350ml Graham’s Organic Whole Milk with cream on top
Handful of cherries
1/2 tsp vanilla bean paste
Graham’s Vanilla Quark to serve
Chopped almonds to serve
