Carol Graham appointed Vice-President of the Royal Highland Show

Carol Graham has been appointed onto the board of the Royal Highland and Agricultural Society of Scotland (RHASS) for the coming year July 2014 – 2015.  Carol, Marketing Director at Graham’s the Family Dairy joins the Society as a Vice-President.

Speaking on her appointment Carol Graham said: “I have been attending the Royal Highland Show for as long as I can remember.  Every year, rain or shine, we would go as a family to see the stock judging, enjoy the entertainment in the main ring and soak up the show atmosphere.  I am therefore delighted to have been asked to join the board of the Society and look forward to carrying out my duties over the coming year.”

Graham’s The Family Dairy, Scotland’s largest independent dairy company was founded in 1939 when the company had an output amounted to 400 pints. The company is now producing more than 700,000 pints on a daily basis.

Stephen Hutt, Chief Executive of the Royal Highland and Agricultural Society of Scotland said of the appointment: “We are delighted that Carol Graham is joining the board of the RHASS as Vice-President.  Carol will bring to the role her wealth of experience managing an award winning brand and we look forward to working with her over the coming year.”

The Royal Highland and Agricultural Society of Scotland was founded in 1784 to promote the regeneration of rural Scotland, as well as the preservation of its poetry, language and music.  Today the Society is for people who enjoy the finest products of our land-based, allied industries and those who support the very best standards in agriculture, forestry and stewardship of the countryside.

Carol Graham, joined the family business in 1996 after having completed an MBA at Heriot-Watt University.  Since joining Graham’s she has lead a six-figure rebrand for which Graham’s won best brand development award at the Scotland Food and Drink Awards; initiated Graham’s first TV advertising campaign and engaged the brand in social media.
