Our trip to the BBC Good Food Show

We were delighted to exhibit at the BBC Good Food Show in Glasgow’s SECC this month, alongside a glittering line up of celebrity chefs and some of the best local producers in the country.

Some of the biggest culinary names in the UK were in attendance: James Martin, Tom Kitchin, Michel Roux Jnr, Paul Hollywood and Mary Berry whipped up a storm at the Supertheatre stage, all using our very own Graham’s cream and butter.

Eileen from our team had the pleasure of meeting James Martin himself.  She assures us he is just as nice in person as he appears on screen – and judging by the size of her smile in the pic below, we’ll take her word for it!

This was our fourth time at the BBC Good Food Show and it was certainly the busiest.  More than 19,000 visitors came down to the SECC between 6-8th November and the venue was bustling with foodies eager to try the freshest Scottish produce – and despite the cold November weather, our ice cream was flying off the stand.

It was also a great opportunity to showcase our delicious new range of low fat yogurts, following their addition to Sainsbury’s earlier this month, and to meet some of our lovely customers – both loyal and new.  One little boy was getting a bit fed up with the lack of toys on display but a bottle of our special gold top milk soon put the smile back on his face, much to the relief of his mum!

Graham’s has long been a proud supporter of the Scottish food and drink industry and it was a delight to see so many of our friends and fellow businesses join together in celebration of our country’s abundant natural larder.

All in all, it was a fabulous weekend and a fantastic way to top off the Year of Scotland’s Food and Drink. Thanks to everyone came down to say hello (and to James, who made Eileen’s day!).
