Graham’s The Family Dairy strengthens management team with key commercial appointment

Scotland’s largest independently owned dairy company, Graham’s The Family Dairy has created a new role and expanded its management team with the appointment of Mark McQuade who joins as commercial director.

With a career spanning more than 18 years, Glasgow-born and educated Mark McQuade (aged 46) has held a number of senior management positions in the dairy industry. He joins Graham’s The Family Dairy from Müller Wiseman Dairies where he was sales director managing national accounts.  Prior to Müller Wiseman, Mark spent a decade at First Milk latterly as executive director responsible for the liquids and ingredients division.

As Graham’s commercial director, Mark is based out of the Bridge of Allan-based Airthrey Kerse Dairy supporting managing director Robert Graham in the long-term growth of the business and managing commercial relationships.

Graham’s products can now be found the length and breadth of the country via more than 6,000 independent retailers and all the major multiples including Morrisons, Waitrose, Tesco and Asda in Scotland with Sainsbury’s, Tesco, Waitrose, Asda and Morrisons also stocking Graham’s branded goods south of the border.
 
Investment in the Graham’s brand has also been recognised in the latest Scottish Grocer top 40 Scottish brands in Scotland research by Kantar Worldpanel.  The family business sits in 7th position thanks to significant sales and volume growth, making Graham’s a must stock brand for all grocery retailers.
