Graham’s The Family Dairy announced as Marketing Society Scotland Star Awards 2014 finalist

Graham’s The Family Dairy has been shortlisted in the Food & Drink Award and Chairman’s Award for First Time Entrants categories at Marketing Society Scotland’s annual celebration of the best marketing campaigns and achievements.

This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Marketing Society Scotland Star Awards, one of the industry’s most prestigious awards schemes. Over 250 entries were submitted across 33 awards under five-core categories; strategic, development, communications, sector and champion.

The brand campaign for Scotland’s largest independent dairy business has been shortlisted by judges from Scotland’s marketing community.  The entry focuses on the development, increased recognition and commercial success of the Graham’s brand which has risen to position eight in Kantar’s most recent Top 40 Scottish brands table.  This has been achieved through continual brand investment and new product development.

Carol Graham, Marketing Director of Graham’s The Family Dairy, commented:  “It is an honour for Scotland’s marketing community to recognise the successful growth of the Graham’s brand in this competitive industry environment.  No matter how big or successful Graham’s The Family Dairy becomes, we will always remain true to our family values of passion, integrity, loyalty and our Scottish family roots.”

For the first time, all members were invited to participate in the online judging of awards before panels of Business Leader members decided the shortlist. Judges will award one Gold, Silver and Bronze Star for each category at the black tie Gala Dinner on 12 June 2014 at the Corn Exchange, in Edinburgh.

Sally Stanley, chair of the Marketing Society Star Awards, said: “As the Marketing Society Scotland Star Awards reaches its first 10 year milestone, what better time to celebrate success than by showcasing the depth and breadth of marketing excellence that Scotland has to offer. Congratulations to everyone who has been shortlisted across the categories as the competition was intense this year. A special mention to first time entrants and the very best of luck to all at the Awards Dinner in June.”

The 2014 Star Awards are sponsored by Cello, the Scottish Government and VisitScotland.
