- 5 oz Graham's unsalted butter
- 10 oz caster sugar
- 4 eggs
- 15 oz self raising flour
- 4 level teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 level teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
- pinc of salt
- 6 bananas (mashed)
Cream the butter and the sugar.
Beat the eggs and add them to the mixture - beat well.
Mix the flour, baking powder, bicarbonate of soda and pinch of salt.
Then add dry ingredients alternately with the mashed banana.
Divide equally between the 3 greased and lined loaf tins.
Bake at 180 degrees C for 35 mins.
Remove from oven when golden brown - use skewer to test centre isn't still gooey.
