The Graham's Story
Graham's has been producing milk for three generations in and around the beautiful countryside of Bridge Of Allan. I'm proud to be the latest member of the family to run this wonderful company - from the very farm it started on, way back in 1939.
At that time, my grandfather Robert - himself the son of a farmer - was just a tenant at Airthrey Kerse. But in 1945, the farm came up for sale and having scraped together the then enormous sum £4000, my grandfather and my grandmother Isabella, became the proud owners of a growing dairy business.
In those days, milk was still delivered door to door by horse and cart, with the horses raring to go at 4.30 every morning come summer or winter, rain or shine. As Bridge Of Allan grew, so did Graham's and by the 1960s the company was supplying retail outlets across Stirlingshire. Today, Graham's is the largest independent milk producer in Scotland, still a family concern and proud to uphold the highest standards of quality and service.
