Carol Graham appointed Director
of Family Dairy Business
Carol Graham has been appointed a director of Graham’s
Family Dairy, Scotland’s largest independent dairy company and the seventh largest milk processor in the UK. Currently marketing manager for the family firm, she has just overseen a six-figure re-brand exercise - the most extensive re-brand in the company's history. The re-brand - which underlines the family nature of the firm - created a clean, fresh new image and eye-catching visual appeal for all product ranges.
The new identity was carried across all labelling, stationery, literature, advertising and vehicle livery and extends to the company’s newly redesigned website.
Carol Graham said: “I’m delighted to be appointed as a director of the family firm. My remit as a director of the business will be to continue to support our brand through marketing, with particular emphasis on co-ordinating our communication to customers and consumers throughout Scotland.”
Carol gained a BSc in Sports Science from Loughborough University and went on to teach Physical Education and English at a preparatory school in Hertfordshire. Following a move back to Scotland, she completed an MBA at Heriot-Watt University and worked for the Scottish Sports Council and the national coaching foundation as a coaching development officer. She joined the family firm eight years ago as Marketing Manager.
Managing Director Robert Graham jnr, said: “Carol's appointment recognises the valuable contribution she has made to the business over the past eight years and underlines the success of our recent re-brand. Any business which has undergone such a transformation will understand the level of work and commitment involved in a re-brand exercise.
“It’s a huge undertaking for any business but we’ve had incredible feedback from our customers, staff and consumers. The re-brand was a holistic process encompassing all aspects of the business and which allows us to move on to the next level of Graham's development.”
